Who We Are
Northwest Wildlife Preservation Society (NWPS) is a registered Canadian charity (BN13302 9140 RR0001) and BC Society (S-22507). Since 1987 NWPS has been preserving wildlife in the Pacific northwest. Our mandate is Preservation Through Education. We focus on providing free wildlife education and stewardship programs to disadvantaged people throughout British Columbia. While we work mainly with children and youth, we work with all kinds of groups including but not limited to public and private school classes, summer camps, youth groups, boy/girl scouts, retirement homes, First Nations groups, and new immigrants. By fostering a connection with nature, and developing the imperative leadership skills and passion in young people especially, we are ensuring the natural world will continue to be preserved for its own intrinsic value and for the benefit of all.
