The Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup
Sunday, September 21, 2008.
On a beautiful Sunday morning, 21 volunteers arrived at Locarno Beach Park in Vancouver for a shoreline cleanup. And a cleanup it was. After our three hours on the beach there was nothing left but a few sunbathers! We combed the shoreline and collected well over 3000 items of debris!
A special thank you to all the volunteers who helped out with this event. The wildlife and waterways greatly thank you.
